General Accountant Full Time

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented General Accountant with solid experience in financial management and accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background working in the UAE and be proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting tasks, including ledger entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with UAE accounting standards

• Handle accounts payable and receivable processes efficiently

• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities

• Support budgeting and forecasting activities

• Prepare VAT returns and ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations

• Coordinate with auditors during audits and provide necessary documentation

• Generate financial reports for management to aid decision-making

Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience: 3 to 5 years of relevant accounting experience in the UAE market

• Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in QuickBooks for day-to-day accounting tasks

  • Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

• Education: A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred

• Attention to Detail: Excellent accuracy in data entry and financial analysis

• Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights

• Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders

Salary and Benefits:

• Competitive salary ranging from AED 7,000 to AED 8,000, based on experience and qualifications
