Key Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping operations.
• Record financial transactions accurately and maintain updated accounting records.
• Prepare and post journal entries in accordance with accounting standards.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations regularly.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Assist in the preparation of management reports and financial summaries.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities by gathering and analyzing financial data.
• Maintain accounts payable records and process supplier invoices accurately.
• Monitor accounts receivable balances and assist in customer payment follow-ups.
• Prepare and file tax-related documents in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Ensure proper maintenance of financial records and supporting documentation.
• Assist in monitoring company expenses and budget utilization.
• Coordinate with internal departments regarding accounting and financial matters.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required reports and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and statutory regulations.
• Identify discrepancies in financial records and assist in resolving issues promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information and company records at all times.

Requirements

• Part qualification in CA, CMA, ACCA, or a relevant Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a similar accounting or finance role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, spreadsheets, and reporting functions.
• Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, Tally, ERP systems, or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation processes.
• Familiarity with tax documentation and statutory compliance requirements.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
