Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Transaction Management

• Post and process journal entries accurately and in a timely manner.
• Record and review administrative invoices and financial transactions.
• Manage petty cash transactions and employee reimbursements.
• Maintain proper accounting documentation and financial records.
• Ensure all financial entries are correctly recorded in the accounting system.
• Monitor daily accounting operations and ensure data accuracy.

Reconciliations & Reporting

• Perform regular reconciliation of all accounts including bank, supplier, and customer accounts.
• Update and maintain accurate financial data in the accounting system.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Analyze financial data and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Prepare financial schedules and supporting reports for management review.

Compliance & Audit Support

• Assist in internal and external audit processes by providing required documentation.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulations.
• Support VAT filing and Corporate Tax preparation activities.
• Maintain accurate audit trails and ensure proper record keeping.
• Assist in implementing financial controls and process improvements.

Administrative & Management Support

• Support finance management with reporting and financial analysis.
• Perform additional accounting and administrative tasks as assigned.
• Coordinate with internal departments regarding financial matters.
• Ensure confidentiality and security of financial information.
• Assist in improving accounting systems and workflow efficiency.

Qualifications

• Professional certification required: ACCA / CA / CMA / CPA / ICMA.
• 6–7 years of accounting and auditing experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and auditing standards.
• Experience in VAT and Corporate Tax filing is required.
• Excellent understanding of reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statements.
