Roles, Responsibilities & Duties

• Conduct detailed incident and accident investigations to identify root causes and recommend effective corrective actions.
• Lead and coordinate internal and external audits to assess compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Perform comprehensive risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to proactively manage workplace hazards.
• Implement and monitor HSE policies aligned with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 frameworks.
• Develop and deliver HSE training programs to promote safety awareness and compliance across all organizational levels.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze environmental impact and propose sustainable practices.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure understanding and accountability for HSE responsibilities.
• Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring timely communication of HSE performance metrics to management.
• Support emergency preparedness and response planning to minimize risks and enhance resilience.

Qualification

The ideal candidate will hold a relevant bachelor’s degree or diploma in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field. Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent are highly preferred. Comprehensive knowledge of ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management) standards is essential to excel in this role.

Strong understanding of incident investigation methodologies, risk management principles, and environmental impact assessment techniques is required. The position also demands exceptional organizational skills with the ability to plan, align, and execute HSE initiatives systematically, coupled with technology and data fluency to manage digital tools and reporting systems effectively.

Demonstrated experience in delivering HSE training, fostering safety culture, and ensuring regulatory compliance enhances candidate suitability.
