Key Responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions accurately in the accounting system.
• Assist in maintaining complete and up-to-date accounting records.
• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) processes, including invoice verification and payment processing.
• Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) activities and monitor customer payments.
• Prepare and post journal entries and accounting adjustments.
• Perform bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain and reconcile General Ledger accounts.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
• Support the preparation of financial reports and management accounts.
• Verify invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and supporting documents.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and coordinate payment follow-ups.
• Assist with VAT-related documentation and compliance requirements.
• Maintain organized filing systems for financial records and supporting documents.
• Support internal and external audit activities by providing required information and reports.
• Coordinate with procurement, operations, and other departments regarding financial transactions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in improving accounting processes and internal controls.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of financial information.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or an equivalent qualification.
• 1–3 years of accounting experience in the UAE.
• Experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Bank Reconciliation, and General Ledger entries.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems such as Odoo, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Tally, or similar platforms.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP functions, and financial reporting tools.
• Basic understanding of UAE VAT regulations and documentation requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and meet reporting deadlines.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Construction, Ready-Mix, Manufacturing, Transport, or Industrial sector experience will be considered an advantage.
• Immediate availability or candidates with a short notice period will be preferred.
