Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue client invoices accurately and on time.
• Monitor billing schedules and ensure timely submission of invoices.
• Follow up on outstanding customer payments and maintain detailed collection records.
• Record daily financial transactions in the accounting system.
• Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable functions efficiently.
• Prepare accounting entries and maintain accurate financial records.
• Verify financial transactions and supporting documentation for accuracy.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Review bank statements and ensure proper recording of all transactions.
• Monitor daily expenses, petty cash transactions, staff advances, and supporting documents.
• Maintain accurate records of expense claims and reimbursements.
• Prepare periodic financial reports including income statements, expense reports, collections summaries, and outstanding balances.
• Assist management with financial analysis and reporting requirements.
• Maintain VAT-related records and prepare supporting documentation in accordance with UAE regulations.
• Support VAT return preparation and compliance activities.
• Assist with payroll preparation and employee financial settlements when required.
• Maintain organized records of invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and accounting documents.
• Coordinate with management and internal departments regarding payments, expenses, invoicing, and financial matters.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and reports.
• Ensure compliance with company financial policies, accounting procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information and company records at all times.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of practical accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of invoicing, collections, accounts payable, and accounts receivable processes.
• Experience in bank reconciliations, expense management, and financial reporting.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
• Knowledge of UAE VAT procedures, documentation, and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional attitude and strong work ethic.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Arabic language skills will be considered an added advantage.
