Key Responsibilities

• Assist in managing day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
• Record financial transactions accurately in accounting systems.
• Prepare and process invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and journal entries.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Maintain and update financial records and supporting documentation.
• Assist in bank reconciliations and account reconciliations.
• Monitor customer payments and supplier invoices.
• Verify financial data and ensure accuracy of accounting records.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Prepare financial schedules, reports, and summaries for management review.
• Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure proper transaction posting.

• Coordinate with internal departments regarding financial transactions and documentation.
• Support audit activities by providing required records and reports.
• Identify discrepancies and assist in resolving accounting issues.

• Maintain confidentiality of financial information at all times.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of bookkeeping procedures and accounting practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with accounting software or ERP systems is an advantage.
