Accountant Full Time

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting operations, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain complete and organized financial records and reports, ensuring data integrity and compliance with company policies.
• Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring proper classification of transactions in the general ledger.
• Maintain and update ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and consistency in financial data.
• Handle accounts payable (AP) processes, including invoice verification, processing, and timely payments to suppliers.
• Manage accounts receivable (AR) functions, including invoicing, tracking outstanding balances, and following up on collections.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded and discrepancies are resolved promptly.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
• Assist in preparing yearly financial statements and supporting documents for audits and compliance purposes.
• Utilize QuickBooks (QB) for accounting, reporting, and maintaining financial records efficiently.
• Generate accurate financial reports from QuickBooks to support management decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing systems for all financial transactions and reports.
• Assist in budget preparation and financial planning activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations and data accuracy.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks (QB) for accounting and reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy in financial work.
• Good organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills for coordination with internal teams.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
