Key Responsibilities

• Record and maintain daily financial transactions accurately in the accounting system.
• Prepare journal entries, invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and supporting documentation.
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions.
• Monitor customer payments and follow up on outstanding receivables.
• Process supplier payments and maintain vendor account records.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain General Ledger accounts and ensure accurate financial postings.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Monitor company expenses and ensure proper cost allocation.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Verify financial documents and ensure accuracy of accounting records.
• Maintain organized filing systems for financial documents and reports.
• Assist with audit preparations and provide supporting documentation.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with internal departments regarding financial transactions and reporting needs.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls.
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity of all financial information.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance-related roles is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting practices.
• Experience handling Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Good understanding of General Ledger accounting and financial controls.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
