Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable

• Process Accounts Payable (AP) transactions accurately and on time.
• Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and monitor customer collections.
• Verify supplier invoices and payment requests.
• Prepare customer invoices and account statements.
• Follow up on outstanding payments and supplier balances.
• Reconcile supplier and customer accounts regularly.

General Accounting

• Prepare and record journal entries accurately.
• Maintain the General Ledger (GL) and supporting schedules.
• Process daily accounting transactions and bookkeeping entries.
• Assist in maintaining accurate financial records.
• Ensure proper documentation for all accounting activities.
• Maintain organized filing systems for financial documents.

Bank Reconciliation & Payroll

• Perform regular bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Reconcile cash balances and financial transactions.
• Assist with monthly payroll processing.
• Process employee reimbursements and expense claims.
• Maintain payroll-related documentation.
• Coordinate with HR regarding payroll information.

Financial Reporting & Administration

• Prepare invoices, purchase orders, and payment vouchers.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial statements.
• Generate management reports and financial summaries.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Assist in budgeting and financial forecasting.
• Coordinate with auditors and provide required financial documentation.

Compliance & Support

• Ensure compliance with company accounting policies.
• Support adherence to accounting standards and financial regulations.
• Assist with VAT documentation and financial compliance.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information.
• Coordinate with internal departments regarding finance matters.
• Perform additional accounting duties assigned by senior management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Experience performing bank reconciliations and journal entries.
• Basic knowledge of VAT and financial compliance.
• Strong analytical and numerical abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
