Key Responsibilities

Accounting Operations

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities and maintain accurate financial records.
• Record journal entries, invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and credit notes.
• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) by processing supplier invoices and payments.
• Manage Accounts Receivable (AR), monitor customer collections, and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Maintain the General Ledger (GL) and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately.
• Verify financial documents before processing to ensure compliance with company procedures.

Project Costing & Financial Management

• Perform Project Costing and Job Costing for fit-out and interior projects.
• Monitor project budgets, material costs, subcontractor expenses, and labor costs.
• Analyze project profitability and prepare cost variance reports.
• Coordinate with project managers regarding project-related financial information.
• Maintain accurate cost records for each project.
• Assist management in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

Financial Reporting & Compliance

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Perform Bank Reconciliation and resolve financial discrepancies.
• Prepare management reports and project financial summaries.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and assist in VAT filing.
• Support internal and external audits by providing financial records and documentation.

Systems & Administration

• Utilize ERP systems for daily accounting and financial reporting.
• Prepare reports and data analysis using Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Maintain organized financial documentation and electronic records.
• Coordinate with procurement, HR, project teams, and management regarding financial matters.
• Perform additional accounting and administrative duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of UAE experience in Fit-Out/Interior Fit-Out accounting.
• Strong experience in Project Costing and Job Costing.
• Hands-on experience with Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), VAT, and Bank Reconciliation.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and UAE financial regulations.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
